Living as a Secular Franciscan wife and mom. I’m editor at CatholicMom.com and a member of the Catholic Writers Guild. I’m also a homemaker, freelance writer/editor, reader of cookbooks, and (very) amateur musician.
The opinions expressed here (and elsewhere in my work) are mine alone and do not represent the endorsement or position of the Secular Franciscan Order, CatholicMom.com, or Holy Cross Family Ministries.
I would love to hear more about what it means to be a “secular Franciscan.” I am a spiritual searcher with a deep love for Saint Francis. Richard Rorh is a great spiritual teacher of mine as well.

That is really interesting. While not Catholic, I love the Franciscans. In addition, I am interested in Interspiritual New Monasticism- similar in the context of the idea contemplative activism- living of the world, not outside of it.
